Pressroom/Project Details
Statement of Purpose:
To re-create the White House in full detail and scale and incorporate all that the Mansion represents as a symbol of the United States and as a home - for use by the public.
Where is the Planned Location?:
We are looking into several possible sites that offer a good mixture of history, ties to the Presidency, access to other cities and communities as well as any necessary supporting infrastructure.
How Do I get Involved?:
Any individual, group or party interested in investment, donation, research, sponsorship, prospective position, etc should contact Dan Johnson by using the contact link in the upper right side of the site.
Who is the Developer?:
Daniel Johnson is a 17 year Hospitality veteran with experience at golf and ski resorts, independent hotel and franchised hotel chains including Hilton Hotels, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn, AmeriHost Inn, Ramada Inn and Hampton Inns. Mr. Johnson has built hotels for various different ownership groups and has a specialty in taking underperforming venues and repositioning them within their marketplace. He has spent countless hours at both the White House and Camp David and has sought out capable and experienced former White House staff and Presidential advisors to be a part of the Management Team of the Second White House for authenticity and accuracy.
Who Would Want to Use It and How Will It Make Money?
The actual Presidential Residence in Washington D.C., welcomes well over 1 Million visitors each year. While
the Second White House will likely not service that many individuals in a year, the opportunity to welcome even a fraction of
those visitor counts will ensure a steady stream of interested individuals and potential visitors, tours, as well
as both public and private events which will generate income for the facility. The actual White House is
limited to the public for various reasons, this facility will fill the gap and where it is impossible for the average
person to hold events or dine at the actual residence, visitors and guests will finally get to experience what it
must feel like - at this facility - with the same level of care, attention and dignity previously afforded only to
Heads of State and other Foreign Dignitaries.
What Kinds of Events Will Go On Inside?
The Perfect Wedding
‘We’re Getting Married at the White House’ – 7 words only a select few have ever been able to utter. Now
you can have one of the most talked about wedding ceremonies and receptions with an unmatched backdrop
– surely one of the most recognizable settings in the world. Hosting your reception in the stunning White
House East Room complete with parquet floor and replica chandeliers and fireplaces. The only thing left to do
is plan a honeymoon that can top the wedding – though Air Force One is not available we can recommend
travel partners to help you get to your destination.
Corporate Events
Perhaps you need to host an event where image and impression will seal the deal. Perhaps it’s a holiday
party you don’t want your attendees to forget. Possibly a fund-raiser for your company or cause – what ever it
is you need, this facility will provide an unparalleled guest experience. Your guests will have the option of
privately viewing the facilities and our exhibits before dining in one of our Salons or perhaps in the State
Dining Room. Whether on site or off site catering, we re-create White House State Dinners when you choose
our facility – your guests go home feeling as though they have actually visited the White House.
Meetings
The White House Concept is perfect for clients who are looking for a unique venue to host a meeting,
luncheon, retreat or other special gathering. Your group can take a self guided or hosted tour of the facilities
and view the exhibits. Our staff are on hand to deliver an experience similar to those enjoyed by only a select
few at our President’s House – truly a Presidential Experience for all.
Tours
Be it a student school trip arriving to see the details replicated inside the Great Hall, a Ladies Auxiliary
admiring the presidential china in the State Dining Room, Veterans passing through the East Room,
Historians focusing on artwork in the Red, Blue or Green Rooms – rest assured knowing that a trip to this
facility will so closely resemble the actual site that you will forget that time waits for no man – though you can
reap the benefit when you leave and avoid D.C traffic on your way home.
Special Events & Exhibitions
A Violin Concerto by virtuosos, Historical items on display for the roving eye, possible curious Visiting
dignitaries, Poets reciting masterworks, Art Auctions, Historical Re-Enactments, Political Debate and
Discussion, Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies or Fund Raisers for Noble Causes – events at the White
House are never ones to miss; just be sure to mind the Secret Service should they pass through.
In a nutshell, the White House will recreate historical and current events, it will mirror events at the actual
White House and offer admission to more than a select few. It will be the home to public and private events
and the source of many fantastic memories for all who pass through her doors.
Is this affiliated with the actual White House?
No. The Second White House is strictly a non-government entity engaged in entertaining and enlightening those who would utilize the facility for profit.

"The White House is one of just a few symbols of America that is instantly recognizable by Americans and those in other Nations. This endeavor will give new insight and a sense of openness that has never been available before to the general public". -- Daniel A. Johnson |
