About the Project

"Imagine your daughter having her wedding at the White House, descending from
the grand staircase into the reception area to meet the photographer for a once in
a lifetime shot in the perfect backdrop. Perhaps its afternoon tea with the social club
in the Red Room while a violinist plays simple melodies...

All are possible and can become a reality at the Second White House".

The result of the efforts of many who are involved in this project will be to provide a complete reproduction of the White House' facilities for public use.

We propose to re-create all the rooms that are well known to most every American including the Red, Blue and Green Rooms, East Room and State Dining Room and the Presidential Residence on the upper floors- but for use by any person or group who rents them - similar to meeting space or banquet facilities - something they could never do at the actual Presidential Mansion in Washington, D.C.

By its very nature, the facility creates a major tourist attraction in the area it will ultimately be located in and becomes a place where visitors from around the nation would come to visit. Guests and function attendees would invariably interact with the displays of White House history as well as the history of the Presidency itself.
